Electrostatic Deflector for the IVEM

Loren Funk makes an adjustment on the beam line leading to the IVEM. This beam is bent downward using an electric field in the large curving deflector shown at the left.

At the upper left you can see just a corner of the three foot thick observation window filled with water.
