Your Visit to Argonne National Laboratory
The staff of the IVEM-Tandem wants your visit to be as pleasant and productive as possible. Argonne is located in the southwest suburbs some 25 miles from Chicago. Public transportation to and from the Laboratory is practically nonexistent. Users are encouraged to rent a car or stay on site during their visit. O'Hare International Airport is about 45 minutes from Argonne by automobile. Midway Airport is about 20 minutes from Argonne by automobile under normal driving conditions.
