Workshop Background

This workshop is the successor to four previous workshops in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2009. The first workshops concentrated on the subject of manganites displaying colossal magnetoresistance, but, as it became clear that the physics of many other transition metal oxides shared many common features, the scope has broadened. This workshop continues that trend.
