Registration

The workshop registration is handled by the Telluride Science Research Center, a non-profit educational organization. TSRC has negotiated substantially discounted lodging rates for workshop participants by reserving and paying for blocks of rooms in advance. In order to secure these rates, payment is due by May 1, but credit card details are required in order to hold the reservation. Register as early as possible to guarantee the reduced rates.

Registration Fee
$275 (before February 28)
$375 (after February 28)
  • For the registration fee, the TSRC provides the workshop facilities, lodging reservations and billing, a continental breakfast each day, and a BBQ on Monday evening.
Lodging
The TSRC offers a variety of lodging options, all of which are located in downtown Telluride. They are within easy walking distance of the workshop venue, the Telluride Middle School/High School. Reservations are for seven nights (August 9-16 inclusive), and range from $105 per night for a 1 bedroom condo to $355 per night for a deluxe three-bedroom condo. Payment
When you register, you will be asked for credit card details in order to hold the reservation, but you can specify that payment will be by another method, such as personal or university check.
  • If you indicate that you are using your credit card for payment, it will be billed probably in early April.
  • If you registered by February 28, and indicated that you will pay by some other means, full payment is due to TSRC by April 1, 2011. Your credit card will be billed then if other payment has not been received.
  • If you register after February 28, your payment is due three weeks after your registration date.
Cancellation
The last day to cancel your registration and receive a full refund is April 1, 2011. No refunds will be given after April 1.
